Final Sugery Report

Cindy called and said that Tyler is in recovery...

Paula was a great liaison for the family this go-round. She took Tyler into the holding room and allowed the family to go with him. She also went in and out of surgery and came and reported to them when it was over. She obviously is a great source of encouragement to the whole family.

They took skin from his right leg (the broken one) from his thigh all the way down to the calf. They covered his bad places on his elbow, back, and side. This will be VERY painful and in fact, Cindy said that he is already in a lot of pain and hopes that they will give him something for it.

They will have to leave the dressing on until Friday when they check it. Meanwhile, he will go back to step-down in the burn unit ...

Pray for Tyler NOW because he is in excruciating pain and will be for a little while.

TREY: Good report. He went fishing yesterday and today went to Aspermont with Keith to do something with horses( you can tell I know nothing about ranching...) We are so glad to see Trey slowly getting back to his regular life!

We are continuing to pray daily for the entire Thompson family. We are especially asking that this will be the last surgery that will be needed and recovery will come quickly. We ask God to give all of you strength and comfort.

Love,
Mark and Laurie Dobson

Tyler, I can only imagine how much pain you must be in then I think how Jesus Christ went through so much pain for US. I pray God will be with you in the days & nights ahead, He will give you strenth & mercy to sustain your pain. Tonya & Cindy, it must be so hard on you to see Tyler hurting so, my prayers are with all of you.

In His name,
Sue, Seymour
