Pray for Keith too

Keith Cypert, the young man who was with Trey and Tyler in the truck, needs our prayers as well.

Keith knows the Thompsons very well, in fact, he helps them work cattle and does some farming work for them.

Keith was also injured during the wreck. He sustained a
lacerations on his forehead and hand that required stitches. He was released from Knox County Hospital yesterday after spending the night and, then traveled to Lubbock today to be with the Thompsons. Understandably, this has been traumatic for him. Please pray that he will see what he did as nothing short of heroic. Pray that the Lord will give him peace.

Though there are only two people in the hospital in Lubbock, the collateral damage--the emotional and psychological repercussions are just as real. But, the Lord promises that He will never leave us or forsake us.
Pray for comfort, rest, and the peace that passes all understanding...

Keith is a Junior at Munday High School.

Keith,

I don't know if you remember the wreck in 1996 when my sister Kandis Longan, Mindy Zeissel, Ambra Welch, and Jennifer Yates were involved in a bad roll-over seriously hurting everyone--except Kandis. She dealt with a lot of guilt and had a kind of post traumatic stress for years...

know that you are not to blame. Take heart in that there are others that have gone through similar ordeals and that you are loved.

Everyone is so proud of you...

I remember when you were a young boy when Rileigh and Andrea were friends how you pesterd them so. You truely have grown to be a fine young man and have recieved much positive influence from all of the Thompson family I am sure. I'm sure know words they can ever say will ever be able to convey how grateful and proud they are to you. Just wanted to let you know that our whole community shares in their gratitude and even though you may not consider yourself a hero you truely are. We pray for you and hope that you will be able to see someday what a great thing you did. I know your family is both greatful and proud of you! Much blessings to you!

First of all, I am in total agreement with the verse that Danny and Ann Kiser wrote here. I believe it is fitting for what you have done. Kieth, I know we always didn't see eye to eye, but I knew deep down that there was something great was going to take place in your life. And this was it. I will be praying for you.

Keith, It took a really strong person to do what you did. It would of been real easy to think twice about what to do. You did what any caring person would of done. God works thru us in ways that we would never imagine. The Good Lord was in total control of you.

Just remember, never look back and say if I would of done this or not done this things would be different. That IF word is a very big word.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Tyler, Trey, and their families.

Love ya

Keith,

You are much too young to know about an old war movie called "Uncommon Valor". But valor doesn't fade away with just one old movie. It lives on and on in people just like yourself.

We don't hear about uncommon valor as much as we need to, but you have re-newed the valor spirit with your heroic actions.

Bless you...

keith,
I do not know you and I can only imagine what a tremendous heavy heart you have right now. You have a wonderfull deed acomplished now in your young life, but it doesn't seem to help the hurting feelings you must have.Do try to understand that you possess something that in time will make you a stronger person. We all have things in our lives that we can dwell on that can "make us or break us". Just remember all the positives and grow from them. Keeping you in my prayers for the long run.

Keith, we don't know you, but we see your actions in saving Trey and Tyler as unbelievably courageous and selfless. If you patterned your life after those two young men, then it is no wonder that you had the character to do what you did, with no apparent thought for your own safety.
A hero is one that shows great courage; a man admired for his achievements and noble qualities. To be noble is to conform to a standard of what is right and good; to possess outstanding qualities. Without a doubt, this is a description of you and your actions on that fateful Sunday, and you are so deserving of the title "HERO".
Thank you for saving Trey and Tyler. Thank you for giving todays youth a real hero to look up to and emulate. Thank you that we can say we know of a real live hero - and a teenage one at that! Your parents must be so proud! Your town and all those that have learned of this situation are so proud of you!
Our Lord surely has His Hand on you. May He go with you and watch over you and perform His mighty works in you as we continue to pray for you. God bless!

Keith here is a story that reminded me of you:

A son and his father were walking on the mountains. Suddenly, the son falls, hurts himself and screams: "AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"

To his surprise, he hears the voice repeating, somewhere in the mountain: "AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"
Curious, he yells: "Who are you?"

He receives the answer: "Who are you?"

Angered at the response, he screams: "Come here!"

He receives the answer: "Come here!"
He looks to his father and asks: "What's going on?"

The father smiles and says: "My son, pay attention." And then he screams to the mountain: "I admire you!" The voice answers: "I admire you!"

Again the man screams: "You are a champion!"
The voice answers: "You are a champion!"

The boy is surprised, but does not understand. Then the father explains: "People call this ECHO, but really this is LIFE. It gives you back everything you say or do. Our life is simply a reflection of our actions."

If you want more love in the world, create more love in your heart. If you want more competence in your team, improve your competence.

This relationship applies to everything, in all aspects of life; Life will give you back everything you have given to it.

Keith-- I don't know if you remember me but I just met you at Vail/Eagle Ranch Rodeo. That weekend when I found out you were there Keith I knew I had to go up to you and give a huge and tell you, you are my hero. Because honest to God Keith you are!I was so happy to finally find the guts in me to come up to you and give you a hug like I did! I have known Tyler and Trey for a few years but I have never met you. Now only being 17 that is a major task that you did Keith that is huge, I am 17 as well and I don't think that I could do anything as drastic and amazing as what you did for the boys. You are truly an amazing person Keith and I admire you! I hope that I can get to talk with you more at the upcoming Ranch Rodeos and if not I will always remember you for not only what you did but your love for what you do and your love for the people around you!
