5:00 p.m. Trey just came out of ICU Burn Unit from a visit with Tyler. Tyler seemed almost normal both visits today. His voice is still low because of of the tubes that scratched his throat with the ventilator but he is remembering and talking about things in the future that need to be done. Tyler told them they needed to send papers to Fort Worth for a horse sale in December and Trey didn't even know about the papers. He said he needed to call Thomas Saunders to get the right papers. Amazing! His mind is certainly working O.K. They seem to be keeping him out of pain. They did not put him in the tank today but will do the debriding in the bed. His temperature was 99.

Continue to pray there will be NO INFECTION.

If Tyler seems almost normal we really need to be praying. We sure don't want that. We want him back like he was.

O.K. Roy, they gave me a hard time when I typed that so maybe you are right. Normal is not a word we would use for Tyler. wilma

Hi, My husband and I live in Lubbock, Texas. We know of this site because of friends Homer and Jackie Lowrance. We taught school with them for years. We have been praying for these men and their famiies since they day the blog was put on site. My mom is in UMC and has been there for several days on the 5th floor. I think of your family continually and pray for them every time I pass the ICU Burn unit sign which is many times daily. So may people you do not even know are lifting you up for God's peace and healing.

Love and prayers,

I agree, Tyler and normal are not 2 words that usually go together. But we love him anyway.

O Lord, your compassions never fail and your mercies are new every morning: We give you thanks for giving Trey and Tyler both relief from pain and hope of health renewed. Continue in them, we pray, the good work you have begun;through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Ok....love the pictures of Tyler, Tonya and the kids. I am sure that when Tyler was little he did not imagine he would be surrounded by so much pink and glitter! The girls are all so beautiful! :)
We love you guys - praying daily!
