pizza party

Today was another good day for Tyler. He had a lot of company. Because it was the weekend they didn't work him out much. They exercised his arm and he walked a little.

Kelly, Todd and all their kids came which was a crowd. They ordered pizza and all went out into the court yard and had a party. Tonya said he was just very tired and ready to rest when they all left.

Our church had another tragedy this past week. Gilbert Flores who has been a part of our fellowship for over 10 years lost his little 5 year old son, Trevor. It has been a very sad and difficult week. The funeral was today and we had lunch for Gilbert's family out at our church. Last night when I was talking to Tyler he told me that he was praying for Gilbert. That reminded me of a scripture.

James 5:13-16 "Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and PRAY FOR EACH OTHER SO THAT YOU MAY BE HEALED. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."

I gave Tyler that scripture and told him to continue praying for Gilbert and God would continue to heal him (Tyler). That is a promise of God. God's word is amazing and speaks to every situation in our lives.

Is any sick???? PRAY FOR OTHERS THAT YOU MAY BE HEALED.

Tyler & Tonya
It's good to hear that you are doing better. This morning as I was reading my Bible in the fifth chapter of Mark Jesus tells the man that was healed of the demons to go home to his family and friends and tell them what wonderful things the Lord had done for him and I thought well today we blog our friends and family and tell them how He has blessed us and had pity on us.Same thing, I guess. The man went away dancing and singing praises and telling everyone what Jesus had done and his friends and family were amazed. We to are amazed at what the Lord has done for you. Should we be? No!I readed the blog from Jan Roberts and I tell you Tyler she knows what she is talking about. She is a smart girl.I wished I had known about this last year I would have put Gerard on a diet of watermellons and avocados. Hope you are getting to go out each day and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. It has been nice here the last few days. Guess who I went to see the other night? George Jones, you know No Show Jones. He did a great job. You might know him but Cindy and Larry will. Well I better let you go. Have a good day Tyler and remember "God loves you and we love you and that's the way its going to be", as Steve Pepper would aways say. We pray for strength for you and Tonya so "Humble yourselves, therfore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Have a great day. Love to you both. Dayle

I'm so sorry about the Gilbert child & will lift his family up in prayer. We never know who will be next. We must confess that many situations arise in our lives that produce FEAR. It may be illness, loss of a child, loneliness, or death. Sometimes fear is the result of trying to handle oursituations ourselves instead of commiting them to our Lord. Fear is not from God but from Satan, & he is satisfied when he can cause us to push the panic button. God does not want to fear Throughout the Bible He said "FEAR NOT." i" WILL fear no evil, FOR thou ARE WITH me" Ps.23:4 God is love, and He indwells in us, His love fills our lives free from fear. "I will FEAR NO evil, for THOU art with Me.
Isn't that a great promise from Our Lord & Savior?
I pray every morning & every night for you, Tyler, Tonya, Ronda, Trey, and Cindy & Larry. I hope I get to meet you someday.

I pray God will wrap His loving arms around you & HEAL you.

Love, Prayers & Peace,
Sue King, Seymour
