We have seen the hand of God work mightily in the last few weeks on the behalf of the Thompsons. We have witnessed miracles and watched Him guide the hands and minds of the doctors in Lubbock. We believe that prayer has changed things.... Now, we need God to hear us for another young man in need. About two weeks ago, the Thompson family asked you all to pray for Dakota Carroll... Know that Dakota is being lifted up also, he went out on our prayer chain line yesterday. What a marvelous child he must be, a child of our Father and I know He will hold him in his loving arms and take care of him. Carlene informed me this morning that someone said his bloodclot was in his lung, and it's in his chest, where the port is..NOT his lung. I'm so very sorry for the confusion..he's on blood thinners now. I hope you all saw the piece about him in the Lubbock paper.
God bless the Thompsons for sharing a small space for Dakota. Please know that our unceasing prayer is still with Trey, Tyler and Keith and will be until they walk brand new. I love you all, Laura Franklin Powell
